13thC Knife- Winchester
A replica of a knife found during excavations at Winchester. It belongs to a group of medieval knives typically classed as "scramasax derivative" and is very similar to blades found at Salisbury and London.
Essentially a proto-bowie knife, these are great utility knives- tough enough for heavier tasks but still small enough for general jobbing around the camp. Whether used for cooking or splitting kindling, this knife finds it's place.
